Henry B. Eyring said, “You are to pursue educational excellence while avoiding pride, the great spiritual destroyer”. Every day we can protect ourselves against the pride that may set into our lives by remembering God and what our purpose here on earth is. We are all children of God and those who were baptized covenanted to remember their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through everything they do. Eyring stated, “Because of what has been revealed to us about the plan of salvation, remembering Him can produce the humility that will be our protection. And then, as we will see later, that same choice to remember Him will in time produce in us greater power to learn both what we need to know for living in this world and in the life to come”.
